Frisco, Texas – On Sunday, September 23rd, 4pm - 6pm Whatsoever Is Good, Inc. will host an interest meeting for the Zero Debt College Project for 9th - 12th graders who want to learn strategies for college applications and scholarship search. Registration is $10/student, $5/parent.
From 5pm - 6pm, as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award Project, students will participate in a Community Discussion about economic disparities.
<span style="background-color:transparent">Community Discussion </span>“All Things Unequal”<span style="background-color:transparent"> is part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project. This round table discussion is for parents, community leaders, and teens in 9th – 12th grade on Economic Disparities in America. <span style="background-color:transparent">Although the American economy has sustained us as a worthy competitor in world markets, there are a number of unequal examples stateside. Examples of economic disparities persist in America., from toxic water in Flint, MI to teacher panhandling for school supplies in Oklahoma. The purpose of this roundtable is to honor the thoughts and opinions of teens and find out their perceptions of economic equality and inequality in America.</span></span>

Each student participant with a paid registration receives a free autographed copy of Thirteen by 15 year-old author, Tamia Thompson. Thirteen focuses content on the frail relationship between power, gender, race and culture in America as well as traditional teenage themes.
